UUCPA’s Local Organizing Committee of Peninsula Interfaith Action (LOC of PIA) is focusing on health care reform and has many interesting projects coming up. SB 840, the Kuehl bill for universal single-payer health care, passed the Senate, but was vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger, so our voices are needed there as well as in the Assembly.
