The Finance Committee
The Finance Committee responsibilities:
- manages donations and pledges
- manages the church's investments, endowments, and special funds
- oversees all the financial operations of the church
- reports to the Board of Trustees
- consults with the Board to manage the current budget
- helps prepare a draft budget for the Board before the Annual Meeting
- consults with groups organizing fund raising events
Membership
- The Vice President of Finance and the Treasurer
- Volunteers from the congregation as needed
- The Chair of the Finance Committee is elected by its members
