Pledging

Accounting for nearly 80% of the church’s income, pledges from members and friends are vital to the financial health of the church. In dollar terms, pledge income has been increasing about 10% per year in recent years. Currently about 280 pledges are received from individuals and couples.

Your pledge lets us plan our future, and makes a big difference in the life of the church. Pledgers are canvassed in advance of the fiscal year to help determine the budget. The annual canvass takes place in February, when pledgers are asked to fill out pledge forms. Members joining after the fiscal year begins are asked to pledge an amount proportional to the portion of the fiscal year remaining. (The fiscal year ends April 30.)
