Giant Yard Sale

Cleaning out your closets? Clearing off some bookshelves? Hang on to your cast-offs until October, then give them to UUCPA. We’ll have fun selling them, do some good earth-friendly recycling, and raise some money for the church!

UUsed Books

This unique source of high quality pre-read books offers members and friends a convenient choice of worthwhile reading each Sunday.  We faithfully cull our home shelves of favorite titles and recycle them through our book store and the yearly yard sale.  For two years these “UU Used” books have earned a tidy sum for church projects while offering an extremely reasonable source of quality entertainment to those who love to read.

We depend on YOU to contribute books you have enjoyed.  You can bring them to the closet behind the Main Hall when you come to church on Sunday mornings. 

For the upcoming yard sale (October 13) we need as many books as members and friends can come up with!  Please plan to save your boxes of books to bring a day or two before the yard sale, when more storage space will be available.
