Interweave is dedicated to the spiritual, political, and social well-being of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and/or transgender persons and their heterosexual allies. Interweave is the UU gay/straight alliance, a place for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities who support GLBT UUs to enjoy each other's company.
Peninsula Interweave is the Peninsula/South Bay's chapter of the continental organization. UUCPA is one of the host congregations, along with UU congregations in Redwood City, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and San Mateo.
We gather on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-9 p.m., rotating around these locations. To join our e-mail list or find out the location of an upcoming gathering, send a message to Peninsula_Interweave-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto is a church that welcomes a diversity of people. We are intentionally open to people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender. Unitarian Universalists actively honor the worth and dignity of all people. You are welcome in our community!
The Unitarian Universalist Association developed the Welcoming Congregation program for congregations to use to educate themselves about GLBT issues and barriers to being truly welcoming. We have been affirmed as a Welcoming Congregation.
