Interweave at UUCPA

Interweave is dedicated to the spiritual, political, and social well-being of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and/or transgender persons and their heterosexual allies. Our local Interweave group serves several Peninsula and South Bay congregations and meets in a different one each month, always on the third Friday of the month from 7:30 to 9:30.

All are welcome to join us. Facilitation of the gatherings is rotated among members. We customarily have check-in, good conversation, shared snacks, and a topic or activity.

Interweave is the UU gay/straight alliance, a place for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities who support GLBT UUs to enjoy each other’s company. To join our email list or find out the location of an upcoming meeting, send a message to

Welcoming Congregation

Rainbow Flag

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto is a church that welcomes a diversity of people. We are intentionally open to people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender. Unitarian Universalists actively honor the worth and dignity of all people. You are welcome in our community!

The Unitarian Universalist Association developed the Welcoming Congregation program for congregations to use to educate themselves about GLBT issues and barriers to being truly welcoming. We have been accredited as a Welcoming Congregation.
