Finding Community

There are many paths from a first visit to feeling at home here at UUCPA.

 

You can

• join the choir
• participate in a class
• stretch out with yoga
• help on Sunday morning in the bookstore or as an usher
• mingle in a social activity, such as Circle Diners, Elder Journey, or the Thespians
• bring your kids to the Second Saturday Potlucks, or the monthly Nature Outings

Our events and activities are open to all: friends, vistors, and members.

Some groups assist on Sunday morning, others are particularly for fun, and still others for ethical purposes like social justice work, peace, ecology. Some groups meet monthly, others for specific events. There are also groups who serve our varied ministry to each other.  The Bulletin newsletter or the What's Happening? section will keep you up to date on events – classes, social events, small groups, or social justice work. 

Volunteer

We value our professionals but there would be no church without volunteers. Everyone has something to offer, some experience or expertise, whether for a class, a short term task or longer commitment, from making sandwiches to making investments. Filling out the Talent/ Volunteer Survey will help get you connected at UUCPA.
