We believe that ongoing religious education is essential to the spiritual strength of both young and old alike. Our curriculum addresses issues that test us as individuals and families and help us develop strength to flourish.
We accompany our children in their spiritual development, encouraging them to question, wonder, and develop their own religious beliefs while confirming the religious values that we share. The Children's Religious Education Program is offered each Sunday.
Our Children's Religious Education Program is made up of both middle school and high school youth. Middle school youth meet at 9:30 a.m. and high school youth meet at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. We encourage teens and young adults to articulate their maturing spiritual awareness while growing into independence.
Our Coming of Age program pairs a teen with an adult mentor. Together, and with the activities of the program, the participants define and affirm their individual beliefs and values within the framework of the Unitarian Universalist Principles.
Adult classes and activities range from study of sacred texts to discussions of “Difficult Conversations” or the future of humanity.
We offer a curriculum of age-appropriate comprehensive sexuality education by trained facilitators to children, teens, and adults called Our Whole Lives (OWL).
