Perhaps you’re looking for a way to make your corner of the world a little brighter. Maybe you’re seeking a way to expand and deepen your own faith in the company of others. You want to have a good time with people who value the same things you do, and you love working collaboratively. Are you wanting some new challenges supported by teammates and professionals? Do you enjoy the younger generation? Then we have just the spot for YOU.

Our religious education ministry with children and youth is a cooperative venture that succeeds because parents and other adults support our young people. They serve as teachers and in other leadership positions. Our Sunday School groups and classes are lead by teams of four adults who rotate responsibility. This means one person leads an hour’s session (with assistance from the team) about eight times in one year. We have teacher development workshops during the year, and Teacher Orientation September 6 to get everyone off to a great start.

At this point in time, more than half of our positions are filled for the 9:30 Sunday session groups. If you have little or no experience of this sort, you will be teamed with veterans, and everyone is supported by the minister of religious education, the CRE coordinator, the C/YRE Committee and the rest of the church staff.

For more information, call me at the church or visit the CRE table on the patio on Sundays. I feel certain you’ll enjoy being part of this wonderful community within our congregation. We’d love to have you join us!
