Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto

Reverend Kurt Kuhwaldt was a teacher for many years before he became interested in ministry.  He has a Master of Divinity degree from Pacific School of Religion and a Master of Science in Counselor Education/Counseling from San Diego State University as well as several licenses and certifications.

He was ordained by Second Unitarian Church of Chicago in 1996.  He served 4 years as Senior Minister at UU Church of Boulder, Colorado, and was Interim Minister or Consulting Minister at several churches including Palo Alto (2001 to 2003).  He has also worked with the Faithful Fools Street Ministry in San Francisco since leaving Palo Alto.

His areas of focus will be preaching, providing pastoral care and helping us strengthen our organizational structure.

He will start his work with us around August 16 and be with us half time through mid August 2008.  He will continue his work with Berkeley Fellowship of UUs as their only minister, also a half time Consulting Minister position.
