Worship Associates

Worship Associates assist the ministers in preparing and leading worship.  They are invited by the ministers and serve for no more than two years.  They may present different parts of the service, but typically:

  • the Welcome Message and Announcements
  • the Chalice Lighting and Centering words
  • a reading and/or Reflection on the service topic
  • closing words

The Worship Associates also assist pulpit guests .
