Choir

At UUCPA we present a wider variety of music than one hears at many other churches. For a singer in the choir it is exciting and challenging to know that during the year we might sing Brahms, "Bridge Over Troubled Water", the Beatitude Mass (by our own Henry Mollicone), or Siya Hamba (a South Aftrican freedom hymn). We have a great group of people, we enjoy singing, and the congregation enjoys us. Richard, tenorThe UUCPA choir welcome singers of all vocal backgrounds who love to sing with others and be inspired by the act of making live music, who want to learn and perform a variety of musical styles, and can join us in weekly rehearsals and Sunday morning worship.  We are a friendly and social group who share a passion for great parties as well as great music.  If you are curious, drop in at a rehearsal and try us out!

Our music director is acclaimed American opera composer Henry Mollicone , and our pianist is the much in-demand opera coach and accompanist Veronika Agranov-Dafoe.

The choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Worship service on Sundays from September through mid-June. Rehearsals are Thursdays, 7:30-9:00 pm in the Main Hall.
