Stewards Honor Roll

April 2006

Our Steward for the Month for April is Maribea Berry.

Maribea has headed up Our Whole Lives this year, bringing a wonderful educational experience to our kids. She has a hand in many things all around UUCPA, and whenever she pitches in, she does it with great warmth and friendliness.

On the Honor Roll for their contributions to UUCPA are:

Edie Keating for chairing the pledge drive with great talent and positive energy … Robin Wright for making the RE closets shipshape … Work Day participants Elton Bell, Greg Meyer (who stayed very late hauling debris), Michael Plass, Lynn Strock, and Bill McFadden — check out the newly beautiful patio room after church! … Phyllis Cassel for providing a delicious lunch for the Work Day crew … Rachael Vasiliev and Joel Sarch for bringing a social justice activity to a CRE class … Ben Hammett for creating a Green Sanctuary collection in the Hamacker library (check it out!) and pulling together the Adult and Family Activities brochure, and Ruth & Ben Hammett for bringing Deborah Williams here … Lynn Strock for volunteering her plant talents for the upcoming Plant Sale … Jane Glauz, Julie Cockcroft, Larry Aronson, Litsie Indergand, Edie Keating, and Tom Thomas for collecting almost 200 signatures for the children's healthcare tobacco tax initiative — on the patio in freezing weather … Ginny Faxon and pinch-hitter Sara Newcomb for two Get Better Bistros in quick succession … Jack Thomas for making sure the info table is staffed and ready to welcome visitors, and for hosting the newcomers' dinner … Jack Bradley for comming innovations to “New UU” … Scott Christenson for stepping up to Forum leadership, and Bonnie Chandler for leading it for so long … John Beverly Butcher for his preaching, special services and social witness … and all the new members who pledged for the first time!
