Stewards Honor Roll

August 2006

Our Steward of the Month for August is the ever-cheerful, funny, helpful, and modest Philip Hodge. Impresario of the Thespians, Philip directs most of the productions, is often the author and actor as well, and plans the beloved playreadings (now twice a month by popular demand). He is also the Elder Journey's chief organizer and court jester. Thank you, Philip!

On our Honor Roll this month are

• Maribea and Elizabeth Berry for hosting our July Youth Ice Cream Party
• Lucy Filppu for keeping Parent Journey going strong through the summer
• Volunteers for Dick Koenigsberg’s memorial service, Elton Bell, Michael Plass, Sara Newcomb, Vi Robertson, Jenise Fuess, and Susan Kerby
• Joe Chee for heading up our CRE fall mailing
• Jenise Fuess for joining the CRE curriculum-writing team
• Mary Elizabeth Van Patten, Bryce Perry, Lindy Peterson, Kathy Parmentier and Leona Chu for substituting in the office so the office volunteers could have vacation and sick time
• Ila Keiper for promoting the Friday barbecues all summer
• Lynn Grant for putting up the “Imagine a Religion” banner, and John Beverley Butcher for buying and installing the Earth flag that the Reaching out to Families Initiative group suggested
