Our Steward of the Month for December handles our financial work, serves on the Board, recently stepped down from bringing us wonderful speakers as chair of the Pulpit Committee, and keeps connections among ideas and among people popping by leading the Book Club . . . please thank Janet Buelow for these and the many other things she does!

• Kathy Parmentier, who led the way in decorating the Main Hall beautifully for the Christmas services, and her helpers Nancy Neff, Lynn Grant, Eric Bier, Lisa and Tom Helmonds, & Alice Idzik-Meyer
• Christmas Eve cooks, ushers, greeters, sound engineers, and impromptu cleanup crew Richard Cassel, Phyllis Cassel, Susan Plass, Michael Plass, Bill Hilton, Eric Keller, Kathy Swartz, Sara Newcomb, & Joan Fox
• Craft-day helpers Gerry Mack, Edie Keating, Laurie Landauer, Mike McLaughlin, Alice Idzik-Meyer, & Terry Passarotti
• Fred & Janet Buelow for computer troubleshooting and upgrading, and knowledge of all things historical
• Lucy Rector Filppu for her contributions to family life and close ties among the many generations at UUCPA, including Parent Journeys, her work on the Children’s Religious Education (CRE) Committee, and a wonderful multi-generational holiday party
• Lauri Anderson for teaching, leading Family Chapel & helping out in the office
• Susan Plass for her additional Personnel and Administration duties
• Jack Owicki for his clear, concise Adult Religious Education planning
• Ben Hammett, for his contributions to the Program Council (including editing the quarterly Adult and Family Activities brochures), on the Adult RE Committee, and on the Green Sanctuary Committee
• Bill Hilton for giving us his HR expertise and for finding Jeff Cashdollar
• Kristi Iverson for highly professional leadership of the Transition Team
• Joe Chee for his help at a recent staff meeting
• Sara Newcomb for helping in the office
• Peter Wright for learning more and more about Powerchurch, and using it to provide data for CRE, and to help get our first Powerchurch pledge statements out the door
• Leona Chu for coming in Thursdays to help with office work
• Nancy Neff for her work for clean money in elections, and to her and the election-table staffers Jane Glauz, Julie Cockroft, Larry Aronson, & Edie Keating
• Harry Wachob, Pat Thomas & Julie Cockroft for their consistently invaluable office assistance
• Shannon Lewis for taking charge of snacks for CRE
• Robin Wright for taking charge of supplies & closet organization for CRE
• The entire Committee on Ministry (chair Gerry Mack, Betty Seike, Alan Miller, Phyllis Cassel, Joe Chee, & Lisa Helmonds) for a great job making possible congregational conversation about the ministerial transition
• Our new, and already very helpful and effective, Conflict Resolution Team: Joe Chee, Dick Duda, Susan Owicki and John Pierce
• Karl Garcia for everything he does behind the scenes to keep Announce running smoothly: fend off spam, keep the content on track, maintain the subscription list
