November Steward of the Month: Sam Neff
Sam is active in our Senior High Youth Group and a leader in the district youth organization, most recently hosting a Youth Advisor Training here at UUCPA for the whole district. He's also a Worship Associate and a key player in the kids' auction. Thank you, Sam!
On the illustrious Honor Roll:
- Betty Cherry, who has now finished cataloguing everything in the Hamaker Library with patience and grace and tremendous attention to detail
- Sven Thesen for his Oct. 29 presentation on freedom from oil, and Tom Loeber, Hershey Julien, Ben Hammett, and David Harris for helping make it happen
- Cinnamon Chu (layout editor) and Kristi Iverson (information-gatherer) for a great Winter Adult & Family Activities brochure.
- Dave Joki for helping the Senior High Youth Group with pie-baking and –marketing, just the latest in a long string of great accomplishments by Dave with SHYG
- Eric Bier and Lena McCleary for directing the children’s choir!
- Thanks are due the entire Action Council for the Social Justice Fair, but a special shout-out goes to Nancy Neff, Alyssa Erickson, and not-even-a-member-of-the-Council Mark Erickson for the brochures and signs.

- Adult Religious Education and Family-Friendly Outing facilitators VJ Mohan, Jack Owicki, Susan Owicki, and Ed Zebroski
- For a wonderful concert that benefited Second Harvest Food Bank, the Music Committee (Don Lorents, Richard Heydt, Susan Owicki, Beth Sherman, Mayo Tsuzuki, and Pat Thomas), soloists Richard Heydt and Kathy Parmentier, Santa Claus a.k.a. Jack Owicki, percussionists Gigi Carlson and Jenise Fuess, and the entire UUCPA Choir, as well as a passel of staff, Lyricats, and visiting musicians
- Auction leaders Susan Plass, Kirsti Elder, Rick Porter, Lisa Helmonds, and Randy Helmonds, the many cooks, helpers, contributors, and bidders, and the woman who brought it all together into one great event, Pat Thomas!
