Stewards Honor Roll

March 2008

Our Steward of the Month for March is Hershey Julien!  This month, Hershey put in uncounted hours leading and coordinating a team of volunteers to bring the Jesus Seminar on the Road to UUCPA.  And every month, he collects used cell phones and toner cartridges, turns them in for recycling, and gets supplies for our office with the proceeds—a gift to the church and the earth.

On the Honor Roll this month are:

Dora Fishman for arranging the Canvass Celebration. Always a wonder in the kitchen, this time Dora took on the planning as well.

Kristi Iverson and others who put on the all-church RE workshop.

Jenise Fuess, Marty Lynch, Marilyn Guerreri, Michael Plass, Rae Bell, Susan Owicki, Carrie Hudiburgh, Michael Plass, Fred Hawley, Richard Cassel, Mayo Tsuzuki, Kathy Parmentier, and Bruce Olstad, for invaluable and loving help with a memorial reception and service. A lovely tradition, and one much appreciated by bereaved families, is that friends in the congregation kindly bring a plate of savory treats to share at the reception.

Janice Bohman and Lynn Grant for becoming our new Get Better Bistro coordinators.

Builders at the Habitat for Humanity day March 15:  Kerri Spilker, Ryan Spilker, Dave Weber, Mike McLaughlin, Rick Geiger, and Heidi Buelow. Joy Morgenstern, Maribea Berry, and Geetha Rao made sure the hungry builders had dessert.

Rick Porter for a creative and excellent improvement to the television’s sound system.
