Stewards Honor Roll
October 2009
Our Stewards of the Month for October are Rachel Vasiliev and Edie Keating for organizing Hotel de Zink. They not only helped bring Hotel de Zink back from the brink after it was almost retired citywide this year, but helped our whole church put its concern into action. Thank you!
On the Honor Roll this month:
Edith Jacobi for being the evening host of Hotel de Zink several September evenings, Litsie Indergand for helping staff the signup table, and all of you who contributed to the basket and/or brought dinner for our guests for a night. A special shout-out to the Senior High Youth Group, who provided the most festive dinner of the month.
Lynn Grant for painting beautiful new signs for the patio
Ben Hammett and Jean McFadden for organizing the pealing of the bells for the International Day of Climate Action, our presence on 350.org, and the 350 tree (check it out on the patio—and add a leaf committing to an action to reduce CO2!)
Lena McCleary for directing the Children’s Choir
Eric Hekler, Florence Haas, Robert Neff, and John Dukovic for special singing and playing in the Sunday services
The Coleman/Mack, Chen, Lin/Sperry, Filppu, Swartz, Phelps/Meier-Phelps, Hardy/Passarotti, van Arsdel, and Hielen families for lighting the chalice
September Second-Sunday lunch helpers George Martin, Mara Freeman, and Lynn Grant
Outgoing Action Council member Alyssa Erickson for over a year on the Action Council, and especially for the brochure and signs for the Action Fair
