The Simplicity Circle is an ongoing group that meets every third Monday night from 7:30 to 9:00, lately in Room 9 or 10.
The group helps people live more simply by discussing ways to reduce our consumerism, cut back on our work hours, build community, find our passion, take back our time, and slow down so we have time to savor and enjoy life. Ultimately we're trying to create a culture that is dedicated to the wellbeing of people and the planet, a culture in which people discover that money cannot be our primary goal. It's not being rich that makes us happy — it's our social ties.
People are welcome to join anytime. Although coming each week is always desirable, we recognize it's pretty impossible, so come when you can. Joining with like minded people is the most effective way to bring about change.
