2019 Annual Meeting Update

The Annual Meeting of the Congregation was held on Sunday, April 14, 2019. At this meeting the congregation voted on members of the Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee, delegates to the UUA General Assembly, the FY19-20 operating and capital budgets, and the FY19-20 Justice Partners. The congregation also approved the minutes of the April 2018 Annual Meeting and the October 2018 Special Congregational Meeting.

Elections

All candidates were elected by the congregation.
The following members were elected to the Board of Trustees:

  • Robert Byrom, 3-year term
  • Thida Cornes, 3-year term
  • Kristi Iverson, 3-year term
  • John Kostka, 3-year term
  • Geetha Rao, 3-year term
  • Barbara Smith-Thomas, 3-yr term

The following people were elected to the Nominating Committee:

  • Liz Esbenshade
  • Cathy Gale
  • Castor Fu
  • Catherine Holmes

(Note: Geoff Ivison is a continuing member of the Nominating Committee.)
The following people were elected as delegates to the UUA General Assembly:

  • Mark Erickson
  • Lisa Helmonds
  • Bill Hilton
  • Audrey Erbes
  • Fred Zeise

Budgets

The FY19-20 operating and capital budgets were approved. For the Operating Fund the Finance Committee anticipates $517,549 in pledge income, total income of $723,650 and total expenses of $723,650. Capital expense projects totaling $254,000 were approved, although the expectation is that we will only be able to complete a portion of these projects. Projects can only be done if leaders are found for them.

Justice Partners

The slate of Justice Partners was approved. The FY19-20 Justice Partners are:
