Delayed Justice Coming To El Salvador?

South Bay Sanctuary Covenant, our justice partner for the month of October, invites all to join us for our semi-annual program, dinner, and fundraiser for our justice partners here and in El Salvador.

Speaker: Terry Karl, professor of Latin American Studies and Political Science at Stanford will explain current efforts to bring to justice those responsible for the horrendous war crimes committed during the Salvadoran Civil War, (1980-1992), by government forces, funded and trained by the United States. Come learn why justice has been delayed for so long, and how ending impunity for these crimes may finally be possible. Prof. Karl is the major witness for the prosecution in the trials to begin this November!

We will also hear from members of the Stone Church of Willow Glen who are helping a family whose father has been detained by ICE.

Sunday October 13, 4 pm, First Congregational Church, 1985 Louis Road (at Embarcadero), Palo Alto
