DESCRIPTION:All-Church BBQ Picnic/Party  Come to the all-church bbq picnic/
 party!  Lunch and beverages are provided.  Dessert is a potluck (bring i
 t to church and we can refrigerate it for you until the picnic).  Childre
 n and youth will be doing compressed air rockets during the 10:30 AM servi
 ce before the picnic in Mitchell Park (come to church as usual\, the kids 
 will walk over together).  In this always popular activity\, the childre
 n build their own rockets with paper and masking tape\, and launch them to
 wards the heavens using compressed air from a bicycle pump.   We have tw
 o launchers\, so there’s rarely a wait.\n\nWhen: After service is out at
  11:30 am\, walk on over via the pedestrian bridge or drive over.  Lunc
 h will be ready when you arrive.\n\nWhere: Pine Grove Group Area\, Mitche
 ll Park\, Palo Alto.\n\nWhat to bring:  Bring croquet sets\, soccer ball
 s (anyone have a soccer net?)\, frisbees etc.  In addition\, we need sha
 de canopies/gazebos. Let us know if you have one (or 2?) for the event ***
 \n\nHelp Needed: This event takes a lot of people to get ready.  We'll be
  posting a signup sheet closer to the event.\n\nRSVP: not mandatory\, but 
 are much appreciated - Please call the Church Office at 650-494-0541 even 
 if you rsvp to say you're a maybe.  If you'd like to volunteer to help\, 
 let us know that too!\n\nFor those folks who need more help with mobility\
 , leave a message for the Summer Picnic Coordinator at the office.\n\nHope
