 choir\, the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir\, in an uplifting evening whic
 h will leave you feeling like you have truly crossed some bridges. This aw
 ard-winning group\, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning Terrance Kel
 ly\, embodies a community of diverse races\, cultures and faiths. Their mi
 ssion is to inspire joy and unity among all people through black gospel an
 d spiritual music. Come join us\, and be uplifted\, entertained\, and perh
 aps even changed. One-hundred percent of profits from your ticket purchase
  will go directly to Destiny Arts Center\, an Oakland-based non-profit who
 se mission is to end isolation\, prejudice and violence in the lives of yo
 ung people.\nDestiny Arts Center accomplishes this mission by:\n\n\n 	Offe
 ring skills training to youth\, ages 3-18\, through after-school\, weekend
  and summer programs in the performing and martial arts\, and violence pre
 vention at their main site\, and in outreach programs at local schools and
  community centers\n 	Providing youth with caring adult mentors\n 	Support
 ing youth in developing an individualized series of artistic expression\n 
 	Giving youth opportunities to share a message of peace and empowerment th
 rough performances\, events\, and workshops\n 	Nurturing the physical\, em
 otional and spiritual development of young people\n\nTickets are $27 advan
