 e.  He died at home\, in the care of hospice and with his family gathered
  around\, just a few weeks after learning that he had advanced cancer.\n\n
 \n\nThe Forum\, in particular\, was Burt's home at UUCPA and he will be de
 arly missed there and among all of us who had the good fortune to talk wit
 h this loving and fascinating man. His legacy will continue in the many pe
 ople who were his high school students\, and the many more whose teachers
  were once his students at the UC Davis School of Education.\n\nWe will c
 elebrate his life on Sunday\, January 20\, at 3 p.m. in the Main Hall.\n\n
