 n kickoff to pass SB 42\, the California Fair Elections Act\, to bring 
 more justice and equity into electoral politics.\n\nBillionaires spent ove
 r $2.6 billion in 2024 campaigns\, drowning out the voices of voters. Publ
 ic financing of campaigns is needed to empower voters and allow qualified 
 candidates to compete.\n\nJoin us for the Bay Area Campaign Kickoff for SB
  42 to place the California Fair Elections Act on the November 2026 ballot
  to allow public financing of campaigns anywhere in California so election
 s are won\, not bought!\n\nREGISTER to attend the SB 42 Campaign Kickoff 
 for SB 42 in Berkeley on Sunday\, May 18th\, from 3:30pm-5pm (Doors open
