 ingfully in local government? If we believe that “all politics are local
 \,” and are seeking ways to make a difference in our community\, region\
 , and state\, how better to start than by hearing from our local League of
  Women Voters. In this session we will learn how the League’s structure 
 offers multiple paths to participation in government and community affairs
 . Of particular interest are the League’s efforts to spread democracy th
 rough outreach to voters and potential voters. The League of Women Voters\
 , a nonpartisan political organization\, encourages informed and active pa
 rticipation in government at all levels and influences public policy throu
 gh education and advocacy. League issues are grounded in our respected his
