 smantling White Supremacy group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Tuesday\, February 13\, 2024\, we will have a presentat
 ion from two leaders of the South Bay Community Land Trust (CLT). South Ba
 y CLT’s mission is to combat displacement\, land speculation\, and commu
 nity deterioration\, and expand housing and economic development opportuni
 ties for low income and moderate income residents in Santa Clara County. C
 ommunity Land Trusts are a powerful partner in reversing the effects of de
 cades of housing discrimination\, since they buffer residents from the vol
 atility of economic crises\, land speculation and gentrification through p
 ermanent affordable housing. Specifically\, South Bay CLT\, like us\, reco
 gnizes the historically racist exclusion of BIPOC and other marginalized c
 ommunities from opportunities of housing and development\, and actively wo
 rks to dismantle these structures by centering the voices and lived experi
 ences of those most impacted by the housing crisis: for example\, by the m
 akeup of their board.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOne of the CLT's Organizing Direct
 ors\, Delma Hernández\, and a member of the board\, Alyssa Serrano\, will
  share insights and possibilities for valuable ways UUCPA can contribute t
 o the expansion of affordable housing.\n\n\nIf you would like to attend th
