DESCRIPTION:End of Life Options  The California End of Life Option act spec
 ifies that mentally capable adults who have six months or less to live can
  request a doctor's prescription for medication that they could decide to 
 take in their final days or weeks\, in order to end unbearable suffering a
 nd to die peacefully. During this ARE Class\, obstetrician/gynecologist Su
 san Hughmanick\, MD will explain the provisions of this law and the circum
 stances under which it may be utilized. Because she values the availabilit
 y of this choice for patients\, she volunteers her time to give presentati
 ons to community groups in association with the non-profit organization Co
