Each month on the first Sunday, you’re welcome to join in a small-group session of spiritual exploration through art. In this month’s session, we’ll train our brains to enter what Dr. Betty Edwards calls “R-Mode,” the kind of thinking where the right hemisphere of your brain takes over–the hemisphere that excels at visual, perceptual, and big-picture thinking. L-Mode (linguistic, categorizing) tends to get in the way of drawing, whereas R-Mode enables it. That’s right (see what I did there?), we’re going to draw. And if you think you can’t draw anything recognizable, come be surprised!

Give your hands and heart a gift by enjoying two hours on a Sunday doing simple and profound art exercises. If you think you have no artistic talent, you will be amazed by what you can do. Each session stands alone, but the exercises and community also build on each other. All materials are provided. For people of any age who can sustain an interest for two hours.
