“There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.” ~ Linda Hogan

Each month on the first Sunday, you are welcome to join in a small-group session of spiritual exploration through art. In this month’s session, we’ll look at the tradition of environmental artists like Andy Goldsworthy and Ana Mendieta. Then we’ll go outside, pay attention to the story the land is telling us, and create ephemeral pieces that respond to the plants, animals, soil, sky, and other elements of the natural landscape of UUCPA.

Give your hands and heart a gift by enjoying two hours on a Sunday doing simple and profound art exercises. If you think you have no artistic talent, you will be amazed by what you can do. Each session stands alone, but the exercises and community also build on each other. All materials are provided. For people of any age who can sustain interest for two hours.
