DESCRIPTION:Exploring Mind\, Hands\, Spirit and Heart Through Art: Environm
 ental Art  “There is a way that nature speaks\, that land speaks. Most o
 f the time we are simply not patient enough\, quiet enough\, to pay attent
 ion to the story.” ~ Linda Hogan\n\nEach month on the first Sunday\, you
  are welcome to join in a small-group session of spiritual exploration thr
 ough art. In this month's session\, we'll look at the tradition of envir
 onmental artists like Andy Goldsworthy and Ana Mendieta. Then we'll go out
 side\, pay attention to the story the land is telling us\, and create ephe
 meral pieces that respond to the plants\, animals\, soil\, sky\, and other
  elements of the natural landscape of UUCPA.\n\nGive your hands and heart 
 a gift by enjoying two hours on a Sunday doing simple and profound art exe
 rcises. If you think you have no artistic talent\, you will be amazed by w
 hat you can do. Each session stands alone\, but the exercises and communit
 y also build on each other. All materials are provided. For people of any
