DESCRIPTION:Canceled - Healing the Divide  Healing the Divide normally meet
 s at 12:30 on the first Sunday of every month.  But we will not meet on S
 eptember 2 because of the Town Hall meeting to discuss changing the church
 's name.  Please attend that important meeting!\n\nHealing the Divide wil
 l resume on October 7.\n&nbsp\;\n\nHealing the Divide is a UUCPA group tha
 t formed after the 2016 election to ask: 1) what do we not understand abou
 t others with more conservative view points\, and 2) what can we learn tha
 t will help us communicate even across wide differences in belief.  The m
 eeting format is variable. In the past we have discussed a book or article
 \, practiced communication skills\, explored our own beliefs about particu
 lar topics\, and interviewed guests whose views are different from ours.
