SUMMARY:Healing the Divide
DESCRIPTION:Healing the Divide  Healing the Divide is a UUCPA group that fo
 rmed after the 2016 election to ask: 1) what do we not understand about ot
 hers with more conservative view points\, and 2) what can we learn that wi
 ll help us communicate even across wide differences in belief.  The meeti
 ng format is variable. In the past we have discussed a book or article\, p
 racticed communication skills\, explored our own beliefs about particular 
 topics\, and interviewed guests whose views are different from ours.   A
 ll are welcome to attend.\nHealing the Divide normally meets at 12:30 on t
 he first Sunday of every month.  But we will not meet on September 2 beca
 use of the Town Hall meeting to discuss changing the church's name.  Plea
