SUMMARY:Healing the Divide
DESCRIPTION:Healing the Divide  This month everyone will  have the opportu
 nity to participate in a Living Room Conversation on the topic "Justice\, 
 Equity\, and Compassion in the Changing Relations between Men and Women."\
 nSnacks will be provided. All are welcome!\nHealing the Divide is a UUCPA 
 group that formed after the 2016 election to ask: 1) what do we not unders
 tand about others with more conservative viewpoints\, and 2) what can we l
 earn that will help us communicate even across wide differences in belief.
 \n\nThe meeting format is variable. In the past we have discussed a book o
 r article\, practiced communication skills\, explored our own beliefs abou
 t particular topics\, and interviewed guests whose views are different fro
 m ours.\n\nHEALING THE DIVIDE meets on the first Sunday of most months.\n\
