DESCRIPTION:Healing the Divide  In our March meeting we will discuss two ar
 ticles\, both available on the web:\n\n\n 	What So Many People Don’t Get
  About the U.S. Working Class\, by Joan Williams\n 	The Future of American
  Politics Must be Collaboration\, by David Brooks\n\nHealing the Divide is
  a UUCPA group that formed after the 2016 election to ask: 1) what do we n
 ot understand about others with more conservative viewpoints\, and 2) what
  can we learn that will help us communicate even across wide differences i
 n belief.\n\nThe meeting format is variable. In the past\, we have discuss
 ed a book or article\, practiced communication skills\, explored our own b
 eliefs about particular topics\, and interviewed guests whose views are di
 fferent from ours.\n\nSnacks will be provided. All are welcome to attend.\
 n\nHealing the Divide meets on the first Sunday of each month from 12:30-2
  pm.  Susan Owicki is the facilitator and contact: Susan Owicki (heal-the
 -divide+owner@uucpa.org).  Registration is not required.
