  and Post-Progressive Politics\, Discussion leader: Michael Abramson.  
 We'll look at the book Developmental Politics: How America Can Grow Into a
  Better Version of Itself by Steve McIntosh.  McIntosh is president and 
 cofounder of the Institute for Cultural Evolution\, a think tank that foc
 uses on the cultural roots of America’s political problems.\n\nAmerican 
 politics are badly broken. To solve the seemingly intractable problem of h
 yperpolarization\, we need to look beyond the gridlocked politics of Washi
 ngton D.C. In Developmental Politics\, Steve McIntosh shows how this growi
 ng rift in the fabric of American society is a cultural problem that requi
 res a cultural solution. He offers a pragmatic yet inspiring approach to o
