SUMMARY:Healing the Divide Special Event
DESCRIPTION:Healing the Divide Special Event  Healing the Divide is a UUCPA
  group that formed after the 2016 election to ask: 1) what do we not under
 stand about others with more conservative viewpoints\, and 2) what can we 
 learn that will help us communicate even across wide differences in belief
 .\n\nOn October 4\, 2020\, we’ll be having a very special meeting of Hea
 ling the Divide.  Our guests will be five Braver Angels who identify as
  Red.  They will engage with five members of our congregation\, who mostl
 y identify as Blue\, in a Living Room Conversation on the topic “2020
  Election – Concerns and Aspirations”.  (A Living Room Conversation p
 rovides a conversational structure whose aim is to facilitate connection 
 between people despite their differences\, and even identify areas of comm
 on ground and shared understanding.)\n\nSunday\, October 4\, from 1 to 2:3
 0 or 3 pm (starting at 1\, the Living Room Conversation ends about 2:30\, 
 another 1/2 hour of questions is optional)\n\nThe meeting ID is 856 2487
