DESCRIPTION:Hike in Golden Gate Park to Hear Open-air Piano Concerts  \n\nS
 aturday\, July 7\, we will hike from the Great Highway three miles through
  Golden Gate Park and into the Botanical Garden to enjoy live piano music.
  After eating lunch and listening to our heart's content\, we'll return to
  our cars by another route.\n\nCalled Flower Piano\, this event will tran
 sform San Francisco Botanical Garden into the city’s own alfresco concer
 t hall\, and everyone is invited to play and listen. Visitors will find tw
 elve pianos tucked among the many flower-filled gardens and are encouraged
  to play what they like\, from chopsticks to Tchaikovsky. On weekends prof
 essional pianists and a host of other musicians will perform throughout th
 e garden as well.\n\nWe’ll leave from UUFRC (2124 Brewster at Lowell) in
  Redwood City at 9am\, Saturday\, July 7. Arrive early to arrange carpools
 . If you want to meet us at the park\, our hike starts from the Ocean Beac
 h parking lot on the west side of the Great Highway northwest of the Murph
 y Windmill.  We should arrive there around 9:45am.\n\nBring lunch and wat
 er and money for entry to the botanical garden:\n\n 	Adults: $8.00\n 	Ages
  12-17 and 65+: $6.00\n 	Ages 5-11: $2.00\n\nkaye\n\n\n
