DESCRIPTION:Hike - Tilden Park  There is no telling what the weather will b
 e like on Saturday\, March 2\, but we do know that the East Bay hills will
  be green and lush. So we'll take a hike along the mostly-paved Nimitz Tra
 il above Tilden Park from where we'll look across rolling hills to San Fra
 ncisco and San Pablo bays\, and maybe spot some hawks\, jays\, and wildflo
 wers\, too.\n\nThis 3.8-mile trail is one way so we can turn around at any
  point.  Elevation gain is minimal\, about 330 feet.\n\nWe’ll leave fro
 m UUFRC (2124 Brewster at Lowell) in Redwood City at 9 am\, Saturday\, Mar
 ch 2. Arrive early to arrange carpools. The trailhead is at 750 Wildcat Ca
 nyon Road in Berkeley. Let me know if you want to meet us there\, we shoul
 d arrive by 10:15 am.\nBring lunch\, water\, and binoculars if you are so
