All are wide open and you are welcome to come weekly or once in a while.\n\n\nThe reading for this session: Saturday August 29: \n\n\n\n It's All Right\nSomeone you trusted has treated you bad.\nSomeone has used you to vent their ill temper.\nDid you expect anything different?\nYour w ork—better than some others’—has languished\,\nneglected. Or a job y ou tried was too hard\,\nand you failed. Maybe weather or bad luck\nspoile d what you did. That grudge\, held against you\nfor years after you patche d up\, has flared\,\nand you’ve lost a friend for a time. Things\nat hom e aren’t so good\; on the job your spirits\nhave sunk. But just when the worst bears down\nyou find a pretty bubble in your soup at noon\,\nand ou tside at work a bird says\, “Hi!”\nSlowly the sun creeps along the flo or\;\nit is coming your way. It touches your shoe.\n--William Stafford (19 88)\nThe participants over the years have found that the approach we take\ , and the respectful\, affectionate community of inquirers in which we rea d and converse\, are as important as the reading itself. While many small groups begin with a check-in\, with a session only an hour long\, Resonant Reading jumps right in to the conversation. Those who are frequently in t he group get to know each other very well this way\, and those who are new will soon find they are among friends.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFacilitators use a li ght hand\, posting the reading in the chat and calling on whoever's Zoom h and is up.
