DESCRIPTION:Sacred Text Reading Group (Saturday)  \n\n\nA twice-weekly onli
 ne sacred text reading group. We meet on Saturdays\, 4-5\, and on Wednesda
 ys\, 12-1. All are wide open and you are welcome!\n\nUsing a spiritual-pra
 ctice approach\, in each session we will explore a different brief scriptu
 ral text in depth. The aims of the sessions are educational (learning some
 thing about the texts and traditions)\, spiritual/moral (discovering what 
 the texts ask of us)\, and community-building (getting to know each other 
 better). Our practice usually follows this version of Lectio Divina.\n\nTh
 e facilitator will have a version of the text available to share\; “brin
 g” your own if you like. All are welcome\, as are your suggestions of fu
 ture texts. Group members also take turns facilitating\, if they want to t
 ry that role.\n\n\nOur text for Saturday\, April 2\, 2022\, is "Fire and I
 ce" by Robert Frost:\n\n\n\nSome say the world will end in fire\,\nSome sa
 y in ice.\nFrom what I've tasted of desire\nI hold with those who favor fi
 re.\nBut if it had to perish twice\,\nI think I know enough of hate\nTo sa
 y that for destruction ice\nIs also great\nAnd would suffice.\nWe will als
