DESCRIPTION:Sci-Fi / Fantasy Discussion Group  We'll discuss the 1999 movie
  “Galaxy Quest” [SciFi comedy/spoof]\n\n\nFrom Rotten Tomatoes:\n*The 
 stars of a 1970s sci-fi show -- now scraping a living through re-runs and 
 sci-fi conventions are beamed aboard an alien spacecraft. Believing the ca
 st's heroic on-screen dramas are historical documents of real-life adventu
 res\, the band of aliens turn to the ailing celebrities for help in their 
 quest to overcome the oppressive regime in their solar system.\n\navailabl
 e in libraries\, Kanopy\, Apple TV\, and Amazon.\nAt the end of the meetin
 g\, we will choose a movie for our September 16 meeting.\nThe Sci-Fi and F
 antasy Discussion Group was meeting via Zoom before it was cool! Lovers of
  science fiction and fantasy\, at UUCPA and beyond\, have been getting tog
 ether online to talk about books\, movies\, and television episodes chosen
  by the group\, every other month since early 2019. Past books include The
  Broken Earth Trilogy (N. K. Jemisin)\, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress (Robe
 rt Heinlein)\, Parable of the Sower (Octavia Butler)\, The Left Hand of Da
 rkness (Ursula K. Le Guin)\, Red Moon (Kim Stanley Robinson)\; past televi
