If you want to blow giant bubbl es at home\, see the recipe below — we’ll all blow bubbles in person o r online so we can all see!\n\n\n\nMedium size bubbles (9 inches dia.):\n1 part Dawn Ultra dishwashing liquid (yes\, it has to be Dawn brand)\n15 pa rts water\n1/4 part Glycerin OR White Karo Syrup\n\nSomewhat bigger bubble s:\n2 Parts Regular Dawn or Joy\n4 Parts Glycerine\n1 Part White Karo Syru p\n\nTO MAKE A BUBBLE WAND for bigger bubbles:\nhttps://soapbubble.fandom. com/wiki/Making_a_Super_Simple_Tri-String\n\n\n\nIt’s time for Summer Su nday School!  Summer Sunday School happens weekly during the summer and i s available for all grade levels.  Starting on Sunday\, June 27\, the CYR E Committee started offering Summer Sunday School two ways – In person\, or by zoom.  Class is 11:45 am to 12:30 pm.\n\nIf you choose to join us by zoom\, you may have done this many times before. The class you join wi ll include people moving around outdoors at UUCPA. Our goal is that everyo ne zooming will be part of what’s happening at church. We know it won’ t be perfect\, but we will do our best!\n\nIf you choose to join us in per son\, here is our plan\, and the rules we will follow so that we all provi de each other\, especially our unvaccinated young people\, with appropriat e social distancing and masking.\n\nSummer Sunday School – In Person Pl ans and Agreements\n\n Check in with UUCPA Childcare Staff before you com e through the fence – look for the well-labeled sign-in table.\n Everyo ne wears a mask the whole time! If you need a drink of water or it’s tim e to sneeze first socially distance\, and then take off your mask briefly. \n Social Distancing:  We will ask children and adults to do arm’s len gth social distancing. This is easy to demonstrate and should provide thre e feet or more of distance. (No social distancing is needed among members of the same household.)\n What will parents do on site during class? Ther e are two main choices – hang out on the sidelines and chat or read. Or – participate with your children in the class activities.\n Can two vac cinated parents talk with their masks off? During Summer Sunday School\, w e want to keep our rules simple – masks for everyone.\n Will there be c offee and hot chocolate? Not yet. We will only offer drinking water this S unday.\n Bathrooms? The bathrooms across from the office will be availabl e.\n Do these rules follow the small group guidelines? The Board gave the Children and Youth Religious Education (CYRE) Committee authorization to set rules for covid safely in our programs. We aim that our Summer Sunday School rules follow or exceed the small group guidelines.\n\nCheck the Sun day School links spreadsheet for the Zoom meeting details.
