 ept. 30\, from 7:30 pm – 9 pm\, for an engaging Zoom seminar on the dive
 rsity of the transgender community\, the experiences of transgender\, non-
 binary\, and genderqueer people within Unitarian Universalism\, and the sp
 iritual meaning at the heart of their personal journeys.\n\nThe Zoom semin
 ar will feature selections from the online course series “Transgender In
 clusion in Congregations\,” developed by UU leaders Rev. Mykal O’Neal 
 Slack and Zr. Alex Kapitan and the Transforming Hearts Collective. Join us

 BTQ+ UU’s since 1999\, and the UUA recently called on UU churches to for
 mally renew our commitment and respond to the evolving needs and concerns 
 of LGBTQ+ people. The UUA issued this call\, in part\, to ensure that chur
 ches like ours provide a welcoming spiritual home for transgender\, non-bi
 nary\, and genderqueer UUs.\n\nSlack and Kapitan’s “Transgender Inclus
 ion in Congregations” course has been praised highly by those congregati
 ons that have used it. UUCPA has purchased access to the course as part of
  our Welcoming Congregation renewal effort. On Sept. 30\, you’ll learn h
 ow you can keep exploring the course\, whether on your own or together wit
