SUMMARY:Transgender Inclusion in Congregations
DESCRIPTION:Transgender Inclusion in Congregations  In September\, 2020\, m
 any of you attended UUCPA’s Welcoming Congregation seminar “Transgende
 r Experience and Spirituality.” The event featured selections from the o
 nline course series “Transgender Inclusion in Congregations\,” develo
 ped by UU leaders Rev. Mykal O’Neal Slack and Zr. Alex Kapitan and the T
 ransforming Hearts Collective.\n\nThe excerpts we viewed and discussed in 
 the seminar were moving and inspiring\, and many of us would like to take 
 the entire six-session course.\n\nThe Welcoming Congregation Committee wil
 l offer a monthly group viewing/discussion over Zoom\, meeting from 7–9 
 pm on the third Monday of each month\, starting on November 16.\n\nOver th
 e six sessions\, we’ll deeply explore the intersection of trans identity
 \, spirituality\, and faith community and gain the grounding\, context\, a
 nd skills to transform ourselves and our congregation.\n\nHere’s the sch
