DESCRIPTION:Transgender Inclusion in Congregations  On Monday 2/15 we'll co
 ntinue our series of videos Transgender Inclusion in Congregations. We'll 
 watch and discuss the third video "Unpacking the Gender Binary." This sess
 ion will present a different model for understanding gender expansively an
 d provide the basis for unlearning our assumptions and approaching gendere
 d differences with curiosity and openness.\nYou are welcome to join us for
  some or all of the sessions\, which will be held on the third Monday of t
 he month through April. Zoom information will be shared on the email list 
 welcoming@uucpa.org. You can join that list by emailing welcoming+subscrib
 e@uucpa.org.\nNOTE: UUCPA has purchased access to the “Transgender Inclu
 sion in Congregations” course for our entire congregation. If you plan t
 o join us for our monthly viewings and discussions\, then you do not need

 ree as a UUCPA member.\n\n\n\n\nIn September\, 2020\, many of you attended
  UUCPA’s Welcoming Congregation seminar “Transgender Experience and Sp
 irituality.” The event featured selections from the online course series
  “Transgender Inclusion in Congregations\,” developed by UU leaders R
 ev. Mykal O’Neal Slack and Zr. Alex Kapitan and the Transforming Hearts 
 Collective.\n\nThe excerpts we viewed and discussed in the seminar were mo
 ving and inspiring\, and many of us would like to take the entire six-sess
 ion course.\n\nThe Welcoming Congregation Committee will offer a monthly g
 roup viewing/discussion over Zoom\, meeting from 7–9 pm on the third Mon
 day of each month\, starting on November 16.\n\nOver the six sessions\, we
 ’ll deeply explore the intersection of trans identity\, spirituality\, a
 nd faith community and gain the grounding\, context\, and skills to transf
