DESCRIPTION:Virtual contra dance hosted by SHYG  Contra dance is a form of 
 community dance enjoyed worldwide. Here's a clip of a teen contra dance fr

  the link.\n\n\n\n\nFrom Sarah Kostka\, SHYG president:\n\n\nI've been ask
 ed to provide some more info on how this event will be conducted\, and tha
 t sounded like a good idea\, so here goes:\n\n1. Claire [Takemori\, long-t
 ime contra dance caller] will teach us the moves of a particular contra d
 ance. Some of the contra dances on Zoom have been more line-dance oriented
  so that they are natural to do without another person. We will substitute
  any two-person moves with other ones / Zoom replacements of those moves.
  Examples include do-si-do-ing with an invisible/nonexistent person or pro
 menading by yourself.\n2. She will start playing some traditional contra d
 ance music and maybe some techno music.\n3. She'll tell us what to do as w
 e go\, and possibly dance herself.\n4. The process will repeat for each d
 ance!\n\nI'd also like to open up participation to siblings and parents.
