DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Fair  As we'll hear in the September 18 service\, the
  purpose\, the calling of each person has been described as "the place whe
 re [their] deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet."\n\nUUCPA see
 ks to be nothing less than this intersection for each of us. As a communit
 y\, we respond to the world's deep hunger for justice\, kindness\, learnin
 g\, sacredness\, and connection. And each of us has a way to express our d
 eep gladness here\, whether we find it in teaching\, singing\, engineering
 \, writing\, gardening\, organizing\, bringing people together\, cooking\,
  repairing\, acting . . .\n\nBut how do we find where that hunger and glad
 ness overlap for us? And will it also be enjoyable and connect us to other
 s in the ways we hope? That's where the Volunteer Fair comes in. After eac
 h service* on October 2\, organizers of UUCPA programs will host tables al
 l over the main patio and grassy area (the "peace pole lawn") to tell you 
 which needs they try to meet\, and which of your gifts and passions might 
 be a great fit--including those you want to develop. It's a great big matc
 hmaking scene\, minus the pressure from your mother. Also\, there will be 
 snacks.\n\nTo staff a table\, e-mail Cat and Amy. To visit a table\, just 
 show up!\n\nAmy and Rev. Cat will also lead trainings on how to distill th
 e purposes of your activity\, and the talents and interests that it needs\
 , so that you can help everyone find a good fit. Join Amy online on Septem
