 A Friends While You GET OUT THE VOTE\nUUCPA’s UUtheVote team is hosting 
 a virtual VOTE FORWARD letter party!\nSaturday\, May 16th\, 10:30am - 12:0
 0pm\nRSVP to Anne Frahn at annefrahn@uucpa.org\nVote Forward and The Big S
 end are hoping to mail 10 MILLION letters to 12 swing states to get infreq
 uent voters from underrepresented demographic groups to the polls in Novem
 ber … and we’ve only completed one million letters so far! We need you
 ! We are preparing letters now\, storing them\, and then mailing them in O
 ctober. Several randomized-controlled trials show that handwritten letters
  are second only to door knocking for getting out the vote\, and door-knoc
 king may not be possible … even in October.\nDon’t worry! We are not w
 riting an entire letter. It is a form letter with a proven message that yo
 u simply personalize by adding the recipient’s name\, your signature\, a
 nd one heartfelt sentence about why we believe it’s important to vote. T
 hen you fill out the envelopes and store them until October. Even if you d
 on’t have envelopes or stamps on hand now\, you can still work on the le

 coffee shop to write letters for Vote Forward. Attending an online letter-
 writing party was the perfect alternative! You can write and chat again -
