DESCRIPTION:White Folks Dismantling White Supremacy  \n\nWe meet on the sec
 ond and fourth Tuesday of the month. On Tuesday\, October 12\, Barbara Sch
 onborn will lead us in a discussion of some of the elements of Isabel Wilk
 erson's book Caste. You don't need to read the book first. (However\, it's
  a great book\, so put it on your list!)\n\nIf you would like to attend th
 is session and are not subscribed to the email list\, please email dismant
 lingwhitesupremacy+subscribe@uucpa.org.  Zoom information for the session
  will be sent to this list early next week.  We welcome new attendees at 
 any time!\n\nWe call the group “White Folks . . . ” because we recogni
 ze the need for white people to do much of the work of dismantling white s
 upremacy. It’s also important to have anti-racism learning spaces for wh
 ite folks\, where they can grapple with new ideas about racism and speak c
 andidly about their fears and misconceptions. It can be painful for people
  of color to witness these conversations\, so we have created this space a
 part from the main body of the congregation. That said\, all people of wha
 tever race or background are welcome to attend any or all sessions.\n\n
