DESCRIPTION:White Folks Dismantling White Supremacy  At our March 8 session
 \, we will talk about the first two episodes of the podcast Scene on Radio
 : Seeing White and\, as always\, reflect on what they inspire us to do. Y
 ou can tune them in here\, read the transcripts at the same link\, or lis
 ten via various podcast aggregators. The episodes are S2 E1\, "Turning the
  Lens\," and S2 E2\, "How Race Was Made." You might find it hard to stop 
 at two . . .\n\n\n\nWith the highly acclaimed 2017 series "Seeing White\,"
  Scene on Radio host and producer John Biewen took a deep dive into thes
 e questions\, along with an array of leading scholars and regular guest Dr
 . Chenjerai Kumanyika. Biewen writes\, “Whiteness\, and white supremacy\
 , are the water we swim in as Americans. I invite our listeners to come on
  a journey with me\, to try\, together\, to get better at seeing the water
 . . . . No journalism I’ve ever done has drawn so many comments along th

 use this space as a learning ground -- laboratory -- workshop -- for white
  folks\, some (or all) of whom are grappling with new ideas about racism\,
  coping with a sense of guilt and shame for benefiting from it\, etc.  Ou
 r meetings will be devoted to working to dismantle white supremacy through
  learning and action.\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n
